Board Members
The following individuals were elected by a group of families that began discussing the idea of founding a classical Christian school in Norman in the fall of 2002.
Curt Stafford
Curt graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a BA in Political Science in 1985. He returned to Norman in 1986 with his wife, Karla, to raise their three children, Carolyn, Stephanie, and J. C. Curt is a CPA and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Energetic Systems, Inc., a manufacturing company located in Norman, OK.
Jana Stuart
Wife and mother of four children, Jana has been involved in education for over 30 years. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in English, she has had twelve years experience in the teaching of her children through home schooling, as well as many years of experience in public, private, and vocational schools. It is her enduring interest in training students to become skilled thinkers and independent, life-long lovers of learning that has led her to consider classical education as the best way to train our children for the future.
Ryan Brown
Ryan is an Associate Professor at The University of Oklahoma, where he teaches social psychology, statistics, and research methods. He received his PhD from The University of Texas at Austin, and his BA in psychology from Rice University in Houston, TX. He and his wife, Catherine, are parents to two boys, Nathan and Luke.
Julie Serven
Julie Serven works alongside her husband, Doug, in ministering to college students at the University of Oklahoma, where Doug is campus minister with Reformed University Fellowship. She is the mother of four children; Ruth, Cal, Drew and Anna. Julie received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also later earned a Graduate Certificate from Covenant Theological Seminary. She is a founding board member currently on leave from the board as she serves as Grammar School Principal.
