1 - large, clear plastic, school supply box with attached lid (for supplies) – found @ Wal-mart, usually w/ blue or pink lids

24 - #2 Dixon-Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)

1 - box of Crayola washable crayons (24 count)

1 - (12 count) box of Crayola colored pencils (sharpened)

1 - box of Crayola washable markers (classic colors)-please leave in the box

2 - pkgs. of washable clear glue sticks (6 count)

1 - pair of Fiskars soft grip scissors for kids, rounded tip

1 – set of Prang watercolors

2 - pkgs. of 9x12 construction paper (color will be assigned at the Parent Orientation Meeting)

2 - Primary Handwriting Tablets (horizontal pages)

1 – pkg. of 9x12 watercolor paper

1 – pkg. of play-dough, any colors (4 count)

1 - yellow vinyl pocket folder, with or without brads (for PIF)

1 – white, 2 inch 3-ring binder w/ a clear plastic cover on the front and side (for portfolios)

Kindergarten Supply List (2009-2010)

 

(May bring items to ‘Meet the Teacher’ or the first day of school)

1 – clear plastic shoebox with lid and name on box (for supplies).
24 – sharpened #2 pencils; 12 for now and 12 to restock for after Christmas break.  Please put initials on each pencil.
1 – box of washable crayons (16 or 24 count – Crayola Brand).
1 - box of washable markers (8 count classic colors.  Leave in box and label each marker with initials.)
6 – washable glue sticks with initials – 4 for now and 2 for after Christmas.
1 – pair of Fiskar soft grip scissors for kids, rounded tip with student’s name on these.
1 – yellow vinyl pocket folder, with or without brads with student’s name on this  (for PIF).
1 – pkg. normal sized multicolored construction paper.
1 – roll paper towels.
1 – container of Clorox or Lysol cleaning wipes for surfaces.
1- bottle of hand sanitizer with pump – GIRLS ONLY.

1 – sleeping mat (beach towel and travel pillow if preferred).
1 – backpack (no characters, please), full-size with shoulder straps with student’s name on this.

1 – dry erase eraser (or sock) & 6 – dry erase markers in large Ziploc baggie with student’s name on these and baggie.
3 – cans of playdough – any colors.
1 – box of gallon Ziploc baggies & 1 box of sandwich Ziploc baggies - BOYS ONLY.
1 – box of quart Ziploc baggies & 1 box of snack-size Ziploc baggies – GIRLS ONLY.

*Change of clothes, appropriate to season, in a large baggie with name (must also comply with Veritas School Uniform policies).

*Shoes – must have Velcro or twisty shoe strings.  These shoe strings can be found at Payless shoes.  No regular shoe strings if your child does not confidently know how to tie his or her shoes.  Thank you.
